On July 18, 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping published a signed article titled "Working Hand in Hand for a Better Future" on Al Ittihad and The National, two mainstream newspapers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), ahead of his state visit to the United Arab Emirates . President Xi Jinping mentioned in the signed article that the Hassyan Clean Coal Power Plant, the first Middle East project financed by the Silk Road Fund, will be the first clean coal plant in the region upon completion.

The（4×600MW）Hassyan Clean Coal Power Plant project is located in the southwest of Dubai, close to Abu Dhabi ,which is the first ultra –supercritical (USC) power plant in the region . It is also the first Chinese-funded enterprise in the Middle East to participate in investment, construction and operation of the power station project under the “The Belt and Road” framework.  It has a strong demonstration effect and radiation effect.

On November 22, 2018, the 24"-Class 600 ESD ball valve provided by KCON Valve for the project was delivered smoothly !  In this modern clean power plant, all pipeline valves for fuel delivery are provided by KCON valves.
